Indecent Exposure In Texas

Under Texas Penal Code § 21.08, “Indecent Exposure” is defined as a person that exposes their anus or any part of their genitals with intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person, especially when they are reckless about who is present and may be offended or alarmed by their act.

Indecent Exposure Penalties in Texas

Indecent Exposure is a Class B misdemeanor and is punishable by:

Confinement in jail for a term not to exceed 180 days
Fine not to exceed $2,000
Both such fine and confinement
