Grace Wren is an award winning Texas practitioner with over a decade of experience in the field of criminal law. Grace graduated from the University of North Texas with Bachelor degrees in Political Science and Economics. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law). While in law school, Grace received the Chief Justice Greenhill Award which recognizes professionalism, integrity, and humility as characteristics essential to the practice of law. Additionally, she was a member of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review where she served as Marketing Editor. Her legal note, "Internet Piracy: Is Protecting Intellectual Property Worth Government Censorship" was among a select few student articles chosen for publication. Grace was also an active member and leader of many student organizations, including competitive Moot Court teams.
Grace began her career with the Law Office of Tim Powers in 2010 as a law clerk. After becoming a member of the State Bar of Texas, she immediately transitioned into her role as an attorney at our firm. Grace has established herself as a skilled litigator and a fierce advocate for her clients and has handled hundreds of felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. This includes taking to trial, writing appellate briefs, and obtaining successful outcomes for hundreds of clients throughout North Texas. She has provided obtained numerous not guilty verdicts and provided aggressive representation in multiple high profile cases. Additionally, Grace is bilingual and has provides quality representation for many Spanish-language clients.
Grace has a sharp, analytical mind and a natural aptitude for criminal law. The quality of her practice has earned the acclaim and respect of many of judges, practitioners, and clients throughout the North Texas area. Grace was rated a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers, earned the Lawyers of Distinction Award in 2018, and was rated a Top 100 Attorney by the American Academy of Attorneys in 2020. She is also an active member of the Denton County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
Grace lives in the Fort Worth area with her family and dogs. She is a passionate advocate for the rights of her clients and enjoys putting her litigation skills to use to provide quality, aggressive, and compassionate representation to the citizens of Denton County.
