Attorney
Born and raised in Texas, Monica is a recent graduate of Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth. She previously earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. Before law school, Monica spent three years as a paralegal for a personal injury in downtown Dallas. But Monica’s passion to work in criminal law drove her to attend law school.
While at Texas A&M School of Law, Monica served as an intern with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, represented indigent clients for the school’s criminal defense clinic and clerked for a personal injury firm in the DFW area. Monica was also a member of the Journal of Property Law, a brief writer for multiple moot court competitions, a founding board member of the Women of Color Collective Law Students Association, and the Attorney General for the Latino/a Law Student Association for the 2020-2021 term.
Monica became a licensed attorney in the State of Texas in October 2021 and is a valuable member of our team.
