- Take Exit # 463 (Loop 288 - McKinney).

- Head East on Loop 288.

- You will see Denton's Golden Triangle Mall on your left.

- At the first traffic light after the mall entrance - take a left onto Colorado Street (there is a Bank One on the Corner).

Be Careful (there's usually a speed trap on Colorado Street -- A Denton Police Officer hides behind a tree in the Colorado Court Apartment Complex) -- the speed limit is 30 m.p.h.

This radar trap is non-discriminating.... Officer Horn of the Denton P.D. also gives tickets to on-duty Denton County Sheriff's Office Deputies and Assistant District Attorneys.

- Continue on Colorado Street. Colorado Street becomes Woodrow Lane (for no apparent reason - the road remains virtually straight).

- Continue on Woodrow until the intersection of Woodrow and McKinney (2nd traffic light). There's a Texaco Station on the corner.

- Take a Left on McKinney.

- Our Building is the fourth on the left (if you include the Texaco station on the corner of Woodrow and McKinney. A white-brick brick office building with green shutters.

Criminal defense attorney Tim Powers graduated cum laude from Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans. He is a former Assistant District Attorney and Chief Misdemeanor Prosecutor, Powers was voted 1997 Denton County Prosecutor of the Year.

Tim has experience in over 5,000 DWI, drug, assault/family violence, divorce and family law cases in North Texas. He recently served as a Municipal Court Judge in Denton County. He is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Denton County Bar Association.
